The war between Israeli and Palestine

It is too bad we all have to deal with sad news on a daily basis these days. If your neighbour did not kill his or her daughter, it’s a bunch of aggravated youths throwing petrol bombs at the riot squad somewhere in the world. This week, I have been asked to compile an article for my portfolio on the on-going, yet subsiding war between Israel and Palestine. What I have been asked to look at is how the struggle started, and how it has grown over the years to what it has become today. Today, “Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier held captive in Gaza for five years by Hamas, has been returned home to Israel in return for the release of 1,000 Palestinian prisoners,” according to The Telegraph.

With this, it brings a different twist to the current situation in Israel, and their relations with Palestine. Will the war end, since one of the Israeli prisoners has been released and 1000 other Palestine prisoners will go free? Time will only tell
